|At its successful debut in 2011, this inspired event drew 236 exhibitors presenting their groundbreaking lifestyle products and services. The depth of demand for these fresh ideas was demonstrated by the strong attendance: more than 26,000 public visitors and nearly 1,000 trade visitors, mainly from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland, came to the Expo. The 2012 edition offers even more opportunities for exhibitors in this exciting growth area to take their business to new heights.
In the Zone
To help connect exhibitors with the right kinds of visitors for their offerings easily and conveniently, the Expo is divided into a number of special themed sections.
New to the 2012 event is Cooking & Dining, where the focus is on the finer aspects of the food experience both at home or in restaurants. This zone features everything from food, kitchen equipment and restaurant services to products and courses which educate in matters of fine food and wine.
Beauty, Well-Being & Senior Products is being expanded in 2012 to include products and services aimed at the growing silver market, while maintaining the zone's key focus of health and beauty items.
The Expo also features Hobbies & Learning, in which products and services range from back-to-school items to computers, courses, games, sporting goods and travel-related services; and Value Shopping, offering exquisitely designed clothing and accessories, gifts, home furnishing and consumer electronics.
An important part of the draw to the Better Living Expo is the variety of entertaining and informative events taking place throughout the fair period.
A big hit at the 2011 were the various celebrity performances, at which famous singers and DJs performed and played games with visitors. There were also magic performances and beautiful music from a choir and an orchestra. Competitions included family and talent shows, airgun shooting games, model car drifting and robot soccer games. Plus attractive prizes on offer made the daily lucky draws very popular with all visitors.
Exhibitors can take the opportunity to use the Expo to educate visitors about their products and services through trial classes and demonstrations. These proved to be an excellent marketing tool at the 2011 event.
Benefits of Exhibiting at the Better Living Expo

Comments from Exhibitors
"Visitors really liked our mini capsule potted plants - we sold 400 of them during the first two days of the exhibition. A number of sales agents from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and overseas approached us during the exhibition. Through these connections, I hope we can meet more buyers and sell our products outside Hong Kong."
Sandy Tang, Marketing Manager, Greenamic
"Visitors responded well to our products, especially our latest LED reading lamp and energy-saving lamp."
Matthew Chu, Senior Marketing Manager, MEGAMAN
"We are the sales agent of OXYGEN BOTANICALS, a pure oxygen skincare brand from Canada. Most of our clients are professional beauty salons. Through this fair we introduced our brand to trade buyers and members of the public. Their feedback is helping us plan better for our future retail business."
