2017 Pitchathon, Matching & Pioneer Meetup

A platform for start-ups to meet one-on-one with investors and mentors to gain entrepreneurial advice and funding.

13:30 – 16:00 ︱ StartHub 3.0 Pitching Competition

StartHub 3.0 Pitching Competition is one of the largest entrepreneurial competitions in Hong Kong. It has successfully held two sessions to attract over 100 startup projects and investment institutions in Hong Kong and China. The competition will be supported by the HKTDC and the Hong Kong Science Park. The Angels Investment Foundation will allocate HK$ 20 million to the top ten investment value projects.





16:30 – 18:00 ︱ STARS Pitch

Hong Kong Startup Council, under auspices of Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), launched the STARS Programme earlier this year. Start-ups selected for the STARS Programme will join the mentorship programme, and have the opportunities to explore industrial and go-to-market partnership. These selected start-ups will present their innovative ideas on “Internet of Things” at HKTDC Entrepreneur Day.




17:00 – 18:30 ︱ CoCoon Advanced Pitch @ E-Day

CoCoon Advanced Pitch is an opportunity for pitch team finalists and winners to further expand their ideas and gain investor insights on how to grow and iterate their product. Go beyond Pitch Night to Advanced Pitch to build their idea strategically.

10:00 – 17:00 ︱ Start-ups Meet Talent 初創企業招聘日

Co-organised by HKTDC and WHub, Start-ups Meet Talent aims to connect talented job seekers with the best HK-based startups. This event will bring together undergraduates, graduate students, and seasoned professionals to one event, exclusively for start-ups.
10:15 – 12:30 ︱ Start-up Mixer

Co-organised by HKTDC and HKFYG, the Start-up Mixer is a networking event for start-ups, investors and mentors. Attendees will be able to make new connections; indulge in new ideas and opportunities from a wide scope of industries; and exchange practical business tips and advices.
13:30 – 18:00 ︱ Startup Weekend Hong Kong Bootcamp

Co-organised by HKTDC and Startup Weekend Hong Kong, the event allows participants to learn how to create a real company, and to meet the very best mentors, investors, cofounders, and sponsors who are ready to help you get started. This year, we will have a condensed version of Startup Weekend to help the young to connect, discover, learn and grow.
14:30 – 15:30 ︱ Pioneer Meetup

A sharing session event for youths and start-up-to-be to learn from successful youth leaders and entrepreneurs.
