Trade with industry leaders
For 15 years electronicAsia has provided the ideal environment for suppliers of technology, components and equipment to meet manufacturers of industrial machinery and consumer electronics, as well as decision makers from both the public and the private sectors. The 16th edition, electronicAsia 2012, would again activate as a trading platform for an industry re-invigorated by increased market demand as well as by pressure on manufacturers to keep pace with evolving technology.
electronicAsia 2012, jointly organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Muenchen International (MMI), is a global trading hub for semi-conductors, PCBs, MEMs, embedded systems, components and accessories such as sensors, cables, switches, drives and much more. Manufacturing equipment suppliers as well as logistic services would find the perfect showcase here. Two dedicated sectors - World of Display Technology and World of Solar - are home to specialist suppliers. In 2011, the fair hosted more than 620 exhibitors from around the world.

The timing of the fair is good as everyone in the electronics industry gathers in this part of the world in October and many of them are here at the fair. It gives me the opportunity to meet with people that it would be difficult to see other-wise. I meet with existing suppliers, but this fair also offers possibilities to co-operate with new companies for the coming year, which is why I visit this fair regularly. ![]() Xenios Zazopoulos, Managing Director, K.A. It's a big surprise for us to participate in electronicAsia for the first time. The fair is very well-managed and internationalized. It is the gateway for us to expand our business network in HK as well as the Chinese mainland. Also, the buyers are in good quality and very professional, we are glad and excited to get many new customer contacts. For the new zone – World of Solar & World of Display, I could foresee that it would be the future trend in the electronics industry. We hope to see the growth of this aspect and it would be more than happy for us to visit it again next year. ![]() Masaki Uehara, Leader, Ota City Industrial Promotion Organization, Japan |
