"Amazing Vannex is a subsidiary of Vannex International Company Limited, a major player in the Hong Kong recycling industry and a first-time participant in HKTDC Hong Kong International Building and Decoration Materials & Hardware Fair. At the fair, we have launched our creative collection of mosaics made of recycled printed circuit boards (PCBs). These mosaics, with varied colours and unique patterns, are interesting decorative materials for interior fittings and design. The fair gives me a great opportunity to reach out to different buyers from all over the world. We are interested in promoting our mosaics to overseas customers such as hotels and nightclub operators, particularly those in markets with strong awareness of environmental protection. This is a good fair with heavy traffic. We are expecting an encouraging response."

"We produce premium entrance mats for various properties such as hotels, schools, shopping malls and airports. Emco is the world's biggest player in the entrance mat business. Our mats make sure that dirt and moisture are left at the door. This is our first-time participation in the fair. We are very pleased with the results as many buyers from different parts of the world such as Czech Republic, Germany, the Chinese mainland and Turkey have visited our booth. We look forward to developing business relationships with them. The fair is really an excellent place for us to step up expansion in the Asian region. Everything is perfect."

"We are the leading supplier of interior hardware for apartments and condominiums in Japan with a 70 per cent share of the market. This is the third year we have exhibited at HKTDC Hong Kong International Building and Decoration Materials & Hardware Fair. We've achieved great results and acquired some good customers through the exhibition. We are particularly keen to get in touch with designers and people looking for premium products for their projects such as hotels and high-end apartments. "Established in 2006, Quacent provides durable, energy-efficient and cost-effective prefab houses with the use of structural insulated panels (SIPs). Our houses can be tailor made to meet specific customer requirements and they are especially popular in Canada, North America and Europe. This is our first participation in the fair. We have attracted a great deal of interest from different buyers such as those from Mexico, the Philippines and Taiwan. It will take some time to discuss further with potential customers on their requirements. We are satisfied with the exhibition results and will definitely return next year."

"We put strong emphasis on quality and adopt the latest plastic processing equipment for our production. At the fair this year, we are highlighting our mirror boards and acrylic boards, as well as retardant boards. These products are very useful and suitable for interior fittings and decoration. A large number of buyers have expressed interest in our offerings. They include buyers from Canada, India, Iran, Poland, Singapore, the Chinese mainland and the Philippines. The results are very positive. This is a very good fair with a lot of visitors. The seminars have been informative and useful. Everything has been taken care of by the organiser."

"Zhongshan Lonki specialises in the production of bathroom items for the middle to high-end market segments. This is the first time we've participated in the fair. We are keen to explore new market opportunities in Europe, Southeast Asia and the US through the exhibition. So far, we've established contacts with a number of buyers from different places. They are particularly interested in our new collection of stainless steel bathroom products and accessories. The fair also serves as a good platform for us to meet existing customers."

“Aswan is a wholesaler and manufacturer of various home products, including flooring, curtains, carpets, wallpapers, rugs and mats. We are visiting the fair for the first time to look for something new and interesting. So far, we’ve spotted an Indonesian exhibitor and will look into the possibility of using its marbles for our flooring business. Further talks will be conducted with them. The fair is a good meeting place and I hope to see the fair grow bigger with the presence of more exhibitors.”

This is the first time I have visited HKTDC Hong Kong International Building and Decoration Materials & Hardware Fair. So far, I have found a variety of appealing items from four suppliers, including furniture and bathroom accessories. This is a very interesting fair. Further talks will be conducted with the suppliers and I expect to place orders worth at least US$100,000."

“Indeco is a supplier of wardrobes in Poland and this is our first visit to the fair. Prior to the opening of the fair, we found a supplier of hinges on the exhibitors’ list through the fair’s website, and an order has already been placed. We’ve met another nine potential suppliers at the fair for the provision of different building materials such as aluminium, steel parts and accessories. Further negotiations will take place with them. This is a good show and we will come again next year.”

"We are one of the top 10 developers in Mumbai, building different projects from bungalows to apartments, warehouses and shopping malls. This is our first visit to the fair and we are looking for new and innovative items in different categories such as door locks, flooring and kitchen fittings. This is a very good exhibition which has been well organised with a mix of quality exhibitors. It's also easy to get around at AsiaWorld-Expo. We are still looking for more items and plan to spend about US$200,000 for new products here. We will definitely come again next time."

"With a history of 17 years, Materiales Y Soluciones S.A. is the largest hardware store network in Chile with net sales of US$720 million in 2011. We have a total of 135 stores across the country. At present, imported products account for just 3 per cent of our sales. We are looking for new suppliers to cope with our plans to expand the share of imported products to 15 per cent by 2015. This is the second time I've visited the fair and the fair has been well organised. We have found two potential suppliers for the provision of building materials including windows, doors and textiles for furniture. Further discussions will be conducted with them. I expect to place up to US$250,000 worth of orders for windows and doors, and about US$40,000 for textile items."

"Melinh Plaza is a large building materials and interior design complex located in Hanoi, Vietnam and we are planning to open two more complexes in the northern part of Hanoi next year. This year, I've come with two colleagues looking for various building products such as tools and sanitary ware. So far, we have found two new suppliers from Hong Kong, with about US$200,000 worth of orders already made for sanitary products in the first day of the exhibition. We like the fair as it features some good quality and professional suppliers. We can always find better quality products here."
