HKTDC Education & Careers Expo Opens Next Week
More than 700 Exhibitors from 14 Countries/Regions Expected


1 February 2012 – Some 720 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions will take part in the 22nd edition of the HKTDC Education & Careers Expo, 9-12 February, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Teachers and students, as well recent graduates looking for career opportunities and professionals considering career changes or educational enhancement, will take part in the expo.

Theme Zones
This year’s expo features five zones: Careers, Creative Education, Local Education, Outside Hong Kong Education (Australia, Canada, the Chinese mainland, Europe and the United States) and Professional Associations and Bodies.

Corporations taking part will include Centaline Financial Services Ltd, the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Ltd, Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd, Leader Builder and Manulife (International) Ltd. A variety of government departments and professional bodies will also be on hand.

Other highlights include the expo’s four theme days: Study in the Chinese Mainland, Study in Europe, Australian Education Day, and Study in the United States.

Career Talks
More than 60 events, including seminars, workshops, celebrity-sharing sessions and virtual classrooms, will be presented. Professional talks and seminars will spotlight careers ranging from the performing arts and marketing to the beauty, hospitality and airline industries.

In addition, workshops will focus on such areas as CV and cover-letter writing, English for business communication and personality profiling.

Visitors are welcome to visit the expo free of charge.
