21 September 2012 - ointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 13th Hong Kong International Stationery Fair is the first major sourcing event for stationery and office supply products in the 2013 exhibition calendar. It will take place from 7 - 10 January 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
In 2012, the fair attracted 210 exhibitors and more than 15,000 visitors from all over the world, once again proved its internationality and popularity. Against the unstable macroeconomic environment, we still witnessed a steady increase of Chinese mainland buyers which reinforced the show as a prime platform for suppliers wanting to tap into the Chinese market. In 2011, the Chinese mainland was Hong Kong’s largest export and import market for stationery products.
To stay abreast with the robust “Go-Green” trend prevailed in stationery industry, 2013 fair will offers extra highlight on exhibitors who will be displaying “green” stationery products. Specialized in producing paper products, stationery and office supplies with recycled paper and eco materials,Ningbo Guangbo Paper Product Co Ltd appreciate the new promotional initiative that help further enhance their product image. And Yuyao Leqi Stationery Co., Ltd which produces tellurion and thermometers that qualified for mainland environmental certifications, as well believes that this extra promotional opportunities can publicise their green stationery products to global buyers.
Hong Kong Stationery Award helps to nurture design talent
The fourth annual Hong Kong Stationery Award will take place during the show. The judging panel, featuring renowned product designers and relevant associations, will select the winning items based on originality, creativity, practicability, functionality, design quality (aesthetic and use of materials) and marketability. The winner will receive a free standard booth for the 2014 show and their products will receive maximum exposure to international buyers during the 2013 show.
