Elegant showcase highlights brands’ attributes

 

The Brand Name Gallery has a proud history as an effective platform for brand building, established for more than a decade now. As such, it is an integral part of the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair that attracts buyers seeking top-notch and upcoming brands with a strong identity as well as a reputation for craftsmanship, innovation and quality.

 

The gallery has a very international profile, and the 2012 edition features over 120 brands from 14 countries and regions, namely Hong Kong, Austria, Chinese mainland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, UK and US.

 

Brand Name Gallery provides exhibitors with an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their brand and its values. It is open to custom-build exhibitors that desire the freedom and flexibility to fully express and communicate their message in a creative and effective way. The area also functions as a venue for a range of marketing and promotional events; in fact, throughout the history of the gallery its space has been fully utilised for activities such as new product launches, solo parades, anniversary celebrations and so on.

 

In an increasingly competitive world, brand building is gaining momentum. Savvy watchmakers appreciate the need to target the higher end of the market, understand their customers and create a strong identity to which end-users will remain loyal. Branding is not just about the design and quality of the timepieces – although these remain the bedrock of any good brand – but also incorporates R&D, design of peripherals, and developing a dialogue with end-users.

 

The doors of the Brand Name Gallery are opened to the general public on the last day of the fair, as it has in the past. Exhibitors appreciate the opportunity to interact with end-users and gain wider recognition for their brand. A programme of stimulating activities including watch parades and public-sharing sessions will be staged; these reinforce the gallery’s role as a marketing platform.

 

Brand Name Gallery is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Ltd.
