The world's largest timepiece event, the Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair is organised by the HKTDC, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd, and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd. The fair, which takes place at the HKCEC, showcases both Hong Kong and international brands and is a platform for exchanging information and market intelligence.
World Brand Piazza made its successful debut in 2010 at the Brand Name Gallery. The Piazza presents a perfect showcase to display the exquisite design and expert workmanship inherent in world-famous brands. It has expanded this year; participating brands include A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Breguet, Chopard, Franck Muller, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Panerai, Piaget and Vacheron Constantin. At this exhibition, visitors have a chance to view not only a dazzling watch from Vacheron Constantin with no fewer than 186 emerald-cut diamonds weighing about 160ct and worth HK$70 million, but also the world’s first clamshell cellphone with an integrated tourbillon watch, LeDIX by Celsius X VI II. This exclusive zone is sponsored by Prince Jewellery & Watch Company and is located at the Grand Foyer concourse.
