The world's largest timepiece event, the Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair is organised by the HKTDC, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd, and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd. The fair, which takes place at the HKCEC, showcases both Hong Kong and international brands and is a platform for exchanging information and market intelligence.
In order to further enhance the design and quality of Hong Kong made watches and clock, the 29th Hong Kong Watch and Clock Design Competition will be held on the occasion of the HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair 2012.
In celebration of Hong Kong Design Year 2012 and to encourage aspiring and professional designers to challenge oneself, ALL participants to the 29th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition will be rewarded with a certificate of participation.
Finalists will also receive assessment remarks from the judging panel as design evaluation for reference.

Eligibility Contestants must be from a Hong Kong registered company or a Hong Kong Permanent Citizen. Please choose to enter either ONE of below categories:
Open Group
Company Contestant Entry submitted on behalf of a Hong Kong-registered company. A copy of valid Hong Kong Business Registration Certificate is required.
Individual Contestant Entry submitted on behalf of an individual designer with permanent residence in Hong Kong. Applicant may wish to state the sponsoring company of this entry, if any.
Student Group
Full time student from a Hong Kong registered school.

Open Group – “Initial Dream” Success begins with a dream, but making a dream come true takes more than just wishing. Participants are challenged to channel creativity into innovation, transform creative ideas into practical and sophisticated watch & clock design that echoes with their childhood dreams.
Student Group – “Love Vision” In everyone’s heart lies love and passion, oftentimes extended to vision and hope for the future. From an individual, social or macro perspective, participants express their expectations of the future and make the world a better place through their design.
