1.

“This is the third year we exhibit here. Since 2008, we determined to expand our business beyond mainland China to Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia. As one of the leading Chinese herbal companies, we are much desired to promote Chinese culture of healthcare and maintaining healthy life to the global population. Therefore, we promote the ideology and the culture of healthcare to the visitors as we wholeheartedly want to bring benefits to them. This fair is a top-tier platform for Chinese-Western exchange in culture and technology, and brings us a lot of quality buyers and industry professionals.”

“We specialise in the plantation and breeding of idiomatical medical herbs, abstraction of active ingredient and production of biological products, and export our products to worldwide markets through trading companies. We participate in the ICMCM for the first time as we would like to meet with more international quality buyers and directly promote our special products to targeted buyers through this platform. Though it is the first morning, I have already had a fruitful discussion with a potential buyer and showcased our product samples to him. I trust this expo will give us promising result.”

“We have participated in this fair for the seventh year and we still find it attractive and international. Our Department has gained full support from the local government for representing Jilin companies to exhibit their best products at the fair. This year a total of 15 companies joined us to showcase Jilin’s products. We recognise that it takes time for Jilin-branded products to attain worldwide recognition and therefore we choose Hong Kong as a window to reach international buyers. Our targeted buyers are mainly Southeast Asia and other developing countries such as Africa and South America. “We provide testing and authentication for a variety of products such as Chinese medicine, nutritious food, fabrics, cosmetics as well as factory production line. We have been very busy during this fair period as many international buyers enquire us to conduct testing of the products or factory line of the exhibiting companies to ensure the quality and credibility while they are sourcing the Chinese herbs. Other exhibitors are also interested in us as they want to be certified suppliers.  We have joined this fair for 10 years now and the reason is because ICMCM is a professional and targeted trade show.”

“There are six pharmaceutical companies in Sichuan and we are the only one which is allowed to produce Chinese medicine. Hong Kong is one of our sales regions and we are expanding our business in Hong Kong and other countries in Asia Pacific region including Australia. Nowadays, Chinese medicine is going through internationalisation and modernisation. Our company has the advantage on cutting-edge research and development, which can produce quality products to meet customers’ needs. The result is quite good in these few days. “We have participated in this expo for 5-6 years. We mainly offer R&D for corporate and institutions through our international and regional networks. ICMCM is more industry specific than other fairs of this kind. It is a good platform for us to meet with potential customers and partners. We also develop good business relationships in this fair.  We are very happy with HKTDC’s arrangement on bringing the VIP tours from Taiwan and Jiangsu to our booth so that we can demonstrate our strengths. Through this fair, we have greatly expanded our network.”

“Having exhibited for 5 years in ICMCM, our main goal for this year is to gather more information about buyers’ feedback and understand the current market. We represent a lot of big brands of Japanese medicine. Hong Kong is one of our main export markets and most of our brands are well known to many people here. As the market has become so competitive and we are planning to launch new products and large promotional campaign with CRC pharmaceutical, therefore information from buyers and the public are important to us. ICMCM is a good platform for us to have better communication with buyers and the public. We are fully satisfied with the expo’s organisation and the visitors’ feedback.”

“We are the retailer of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Sweden and this is the reason we travel all the way to Hong Kong to attend this expo. We are looking for Chinese suppliers to buy in quality TCM. “We are the biggest chain retailer with 1,200 pharmacies and we also operate 50 hospitals in India. Our suppliers are the major international paramedical companies and we come to ICMCM for sourcing herbs, medicine and medical equipment from Chinese companies as their price is more competitive. We also want to understand other healthy food and beverage products such as ginseng and green tea, and explore possibilities of trading and import. I am impressed with the product varieties and the excellent product quality. We will definitely come again next year.”

“My company produces Chinese medicine granules and powder for 65 years. Eighty percent are distributed domestically and the rest is exported to Japan, Malaysia, and the USA. Our annual turnover reaches NT$200 million. This is my first time to attend this fair and I want to search for mainland OEM to reduce our production cost. Apart from that, I see Hong Kong as a place opened to R&D, so I come to this fair to understand the market and gather more information.
