“Taurus is one of the biggest small household appliances producers in Europe with an annual turnover of about Euro250 million. Our business presence spans across the world with production, R&D and logistics centres in different countries. The International ICT Expo is an important fair for us to learn about new technologies and trends. This year, we have 25 staff from different parts of the world coming to Hong Kong for sourcing. We are especially interested in software applications for smartphones as well as tablet PCs. Everything has been great in Hong Kong from hotel to transportation and exhibition facilities. We expect to spend as much as Euro4 million this time in Hong Kong for the sourcing of new products.”

 “Our PaperCut software provides an easy way to monitor and manage printing, thus enhancing cost savings and environmental conservation. Today, our software sells to 120 countries worldwide in 20 different languages. We are exhibiting here for the second time. The Expo is a perfect place for networking and interacting with companies from different parts of the world. The response has been very good so far. We’ve got in touch with four serious customers in the first few hours of exhibition including two from Hong Kong, one from the Philippines and the other from Malaysia. The Philippines partner provides support services to 100 schools around Manila, which means 100 potential end-users for our software. The Expo is a great show with the right atmosphere. The support provided by HKTDC is terrific, making it so easy for us to exhibit and promote our product here.”
