HKTDC InnoDesignTech Expo Roadshow - "Urban Playroom"

Urban Playroom

"Work Hard, Play Hard" is the ideal lifestyle for many people. Being surrounded by many skyscrapers and artificial city structure, urban dwellers are living in tiny apartments and fully occupied by the bustle and hustle of cities. Have you ever thought of sneaking away from the busy life and explore other possibilities of living in urban cities?

In collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, 21 local emerging design talents create a series of imaginative and amusing design installations and creative works under the theme of Urban Playroom. The young talents, who work magic in every tiny city corner, break through the static city life and highlight the aesthetic of living through their designs. The designers turn the city into a splendid urban playroom for city dwellers. Their creativity brings you and your family enjoyable moments with lots of joy and laughter. Public are welcome to come and join our design extravaganza and get inspired by their heartening and playful ideas.

Urban Playroom is part of Create Outside The Grid, a design collaboration project initiated by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to promote Hong Kong creative talents and to showcase the excellence of local designs to wider public. The exhibition is also a roadshow of HKTDC InnoDesignTech Expo to be held in December 2016.
