"Today's responses from buyers have been fantastic. We have received strong interest from many international buyers including those from Japan, Korea, USA and countries in South America and Europe. Among the buyers are gym operators and sports goods wholesalers. They have taken samples of our training balls and bands that are designed for convenient training of different muscle groups and increasing strength of fingers, wrists, hands and shoulders. I am confident of concluding deals with them. Everything is great at the fair. We will definitely participate in the fair again next year."

“Wilton Bradley is here for the first time promoting our action sports equipment brand Osprey and lifestyle clothing brand Urban Beach. Products on display include skateboards, skating wear and surf wear. The UK and Europe are currently our major markets and we are looking for distributors all over the world to expand our international presence. The Hong Kong fair has attracted some good quality buyers from different markets. People are here for reasons. We’ve established many good contacts including buyers from Brazil, USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Europe. I am sure we will be able to conclude some deals and get orders after further negotiation. Hong Kong is an international trading hub. We’ve also established an office here to drive our expansion worldwide.”

"Key Power specialises in the retailing and wholesale business of specialty sports goods. Currently, we operate eight shops in Singapore, two in Malaysia and one in Indonesia. This is our first visit to the Hong Kong fair. We've got what we are looking for here. We are in touch with three to four exhibitors from Chinese mainland who produce sports apparels, water bottles and socks. Sample orders have been made with them involving more than 10,000 pieces. We will provide our design to the suppliers so they can work out the specific products for us."

"We are one of the biggest sports goods manufacturers in Thailand. Our factory facilities in Bangkok employ about 2,000 workers. We also import sports products for sale to department stores. At present, we source many of our products from Taiwan. The Hong Kong fair provides an opportunity to find new suppliers. I have found 10 exhibitors mainly from Chinese mainland at the fair for the supply of cycling wear and training equipment. I will place at least US$50,000 worth of orders initially. This is a rewarding visit. Exhibitors are being flexible in doing business and willing to accept smaller orders. I will visit the fair again."

“Live Sports 365 is India’s premier online sports store and one of the fastest-growing companies in the sports field of the country. We are also engaged in wholesale of sports goods as well as sales to clubs, institutions and corporations. This is my first visit to the Hong Kong with particular interest in sports and fitness items. I am negotiating with two Chinese mainland exhibitors for the supply of sports socks. I’ve also found another two good companies who provide swimming accessories at very attractive prices. I reckon about US$250,000 worth of orders will be placed with the four suppliers. The fair has been well organised and HKTDC has been helpful setting up meetings for business exchanges.”

We provide a wide range of about 1,600 products such as sleeping bags, tents and knives for customers including the Boy Scouts of America. I am visiting the fair for the first time. Organisation has been great here. I’ve met an existing supplier at the fair and we are discussing about replacements orders for tents and sleeping bags. I’ve also identified a potential Chinese mainland supplier who produces polarised glasses with a unique design. We are targeting an initial order of US$50,000. This is an excellent fair with wonderful services. I expect the fair to grow bigger and bigger.”
