“Textilers (Pvt) Ltd is one of the biggest producers of socks in Pakistan. We deal in socks and no other product. As a specialist manufacturer we have a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant vertically integrated from knit to pack.

In 2011, our first participation in Sports Source Asia, we had the expectation of coming across new customers and new markets. At future events we might look at franchising/licensing options as well.

We had a good response from the fair and meet a reasonable number of buyers; for example we met buyers from Europe, Mexico, the Chinese mainland and the US. We are in process of finalising the deals and getting orders. After this phase of finalising and providing good service, our aim is to establish long term relationships with our buyers.

We were pleased with the organisation of the fair; signage, facilities etc were very helpful."

We are also a growing company and we believe our growth is founded on the quality of our products and services. Our aim is to create long term business relations and exceed customer expectations.

Sports Source Asia helped us to meet new customers and we are expecting in future it will help to get some good business. 2011 was our first participation and we met 35 buyers. There were many potential customers and we are busy negotiating with customers."

“Total Sports is one of India's leading chains of sports & fitness stores. We deal in sporting goods, sportswear, fitness equipment and nutritional food supplements. Our attendance at Sports Source Asia 2011 was our first visit to the fair and our objective was to identify sports goods and fitness equipment to import into India. We were looking for high quality products from reputable manufacturers following the highest standards of fair business practice so that we can do good business with them without any worry.

We met manufacturers and traders from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Pakistan and Taiwan and we have established relationships with quite a few exhibitors. We were able to identify a few manufacturers who met our needs and standards and we have started communicating with them to import their products. We were planning to place orders of around USD20,000 on fitness accessories and bags.

Overall the organisation of the fair was good though we were expecting a higher number of exhibitors offering sporting goods & fitness equipment. The location of the fair was good in terms of proximity to the airport and the hotel."
