China Economic Herald - Recently, Professor Wang Mingji, from the Academy of Macroeconomic Research, NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission), wrote an article on what has come to be known as the 'Seven Sins' of the Labor Contract Law. These 'Seven Sins', which were put forth by some enterprises and scholars, were described as ignorance of enterprises' interests, bankruptcy of small and medium-sized enterprises, rising employment costs, less international competition, restrictions on employment, rising unemployment and increased labor disputes that damage social harmony. In his article Professor Wang, through fact-based analysis, reveals the 'Seven Sins' of the Labor Contract Law to be nonsense.
