And You Can Quote Me: “We are a major e-tailer on the Chinese mainland operating as an online department store with a great variety of products for sale. We are visiting this Food Expo for the first time to find new suppliers for food items. So far, we’ve found two new suppliers from Japan and Australia for organic and health-related food products. We will further study detailed terms and conditions. Hopefully, we can finalise deals within one month. The amount of initial orders together for the two suppliers will be about Rmb1 million. This is an excellent fair with a large number of exhibitors and products on offer.” (Tian Peigang, General Manager, Overseas Business Department, dangdang.com, the Chinese mainland, talking about last year’s fair.)
