Hong Kong International Tea Fair

WHAT: The ninth edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair will feature products from major tea-producing and tea-trading regions, including the Chinese mainland, India, Japan and Sri Lanka. This year’s event will feature more than 200 exhibitors from nine countries and regions.

WHEN: 17-19 August 2017

WHO: Exhibitors will feature products in the following categories: processed tea and tea products, tea packaging, tea-processing equipment and testing service, tea ware and tea technology.

WHY: China is the world’s largest tea-producing country, while Hong Kong has the highest per-capita tea consumption in Asia.

Fair highlights will include a tea competition and tea-tasting sessions, while experts will discuss trends, branding and marketing strategies at the Tea Forum Series.

Open to the public on the final day, the fair will be held alongside the HKTDC Food Expo, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products, the HKTDC Home Delights Expo and the HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo.
