Light emerges for export trades
- The HKTDC Export Index advanced further to 48.3 for 3Q09, the highest in six quarters and coming closer to expansionary territory. The index's third straight quarterly improvement reflected signs of stabilisation in Hong Kong's exports.
- Export sentiment improved for all major markets. In particular, the index for the Mainland market rose above 50 for the first time since 3Q08, signalling expansion in the near term.........
