Kent ale wins award in Hong Kong

Britain's oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame is celebrating the success of one of its iconic beer brands. Bishops Finger, Kentish Strong Ale has won two major awards at the first Hong Kong International Beer Awards

Not only did Bishops Finger win the best English ale category but it also surpassed beers from all over the world to win the Best Beer in All Categories Award.

The award was announced at the Restaurant and Bar Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Graeme Craig, Shepherd Neame Sales Director said, "We are proud that the quality of Bishops Finger, our quintessential Kentish Strong Ale has been recognised in these prestigious international awards. It is great to see that traditional English ales are growing in popularity in the Far East."
