Companies in Yorkshire can learn about business opportunities in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland at a free seminar in Leeds on the afternoon of Wednesday 28 June.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and entitled Think Asia, Think Hong Kong: Your Super-Connector to the Belt and Road, the event will be held at The Leeds Marriott Hotel, 4 Trevelyan Square, Boar Lane, Leeds LS1 6ET.
As an international business, trade and financial hub, Hong Kong serves as the gateway to the Chinese mainland and across Asia. It has the fundamental expertise, information and human resources to tap into the Asian marketplace, which has made Hong Kong the world's 9th largest trading economy, with the Chinese mainland its most significant trading partner.
The business seminar will highlight new opportunities and developments in Hong Kong and China along with the Belt and Road initiative. It will enable businesses to establish and strengthen trade and investment links with the rising Asia region. Professional speakers will discuss opportunities and challenges, followed by Q&A session and networking opportunities.
