Hong Kong is a launching pad for French companies; both big and small for Asia, says Marc Allard, HKTDC Director of France, Spain and Portugal. While consumer confidence has been hit by France’s stalled economy, he says that French businesses are eager to tap opportunities in Asia through Hong Kong. The upcoming “Think Asia, Think Hong Kong,” to be held in Paris in October, is the ideal meeting place for French business to find partners for their Asian venture.
