Intellectual property (IP) is becoming increasingly important in Asia, according to Google's in-house patent attorney John LaBarre. The company's senior Counsel in charge of IP spoke at the recent Business of IP Asia Forum in Hong Kong -- where he told the HKTDC that Hong Kong's business platform offers unique advantages for companies to take advantage of expanding opportunities in the region.
