Canada Issues Preliminary Injury Determination in AD Investigation of Mattress Innerspring Units. On 26 June, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal issued a preliminary injury determination in its AD investigation of certain mainland Chinese mattress innerspring units, with or without edge guards, used in the manufacture of innerspring mattresses, classified under HTSCA 7320.20.9010, 9404.10.0000 and 9404.29.0000. The CBSA is expected to issue its preliminary determination by 27 July.

Brazil Finds Dumping of Lorry and Bus Tyres. Brazil recently issued a final affirmative determination in its AD investigation of mainland Chinese new pneumatic rubber tyres of a kind used on buses or lorries, of radial construction, with a wheel arch of 20, 22 or 22.5 inches, classified under NCM 4011.20.90. As a result, imports of subject merchandise are now subject to the following AD duties.

Status of Mexico's Scope Reviews of AD Duty Orders on Mushrooms and Hydraulic Jacks. Mexico's Ministry of Economy recently issued the final results of its changed circumstances review of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese mushrooms of the genus Agaricus classified under HTSMX 2003.10.01. The ME decided to lower the dumping margin in place on imports of subject merchandise from Calkins & Burke Limited from US$0.2476 per kilogram to US$0.1809 per kilogram.

Separately, the ME has initiated a scope review of the AD duty order on certain hydraulic bottle jacks classified under HTSMX 8425.42.02. The review will seek to determine whether certain bottle-type components for the manufacture of hydraulic bottle jacks with a maximum load capacity of two, four, six, eight, 12 and 20 tonnes fall within the scope of this order.
