WHAT: A fair for wholesalers and consumers designed to help Hong Kong companies sell and promote their products, test consumer response and widen sales channels on the mainland. This second edition builds on the success of the March 2009 inaugural event, which attracted more than 145,000 visitors.
WHEN: 8-12 January 2010
WHO: Exhibitors of Hong Kong fashion and lifestyle products, including fashion and fashion accessories, watches, jewellery, gifts and houseware, personal care and health products.
Applicants must be Hong Kong-registered companies, and exhibits must be manufactured, owned, licensed or represented by an agent of the applicant. Companies with Hong Kong brand name and ODM capabilities will have priority.
WHY: The event is timed to take advantage of the increased buying sentiment leading to the Lunar New Year holidays. It’s also an opportunity for Hong Kong exhibitors to deepen their understanding of the mainland consumer market, particularly in the southern region.
A series of publicity drives will be launched ahead of the event, including advertisements in leading Guangzhou newspapers, magazines and radio stations, as well as outdoor and Internet advertising.
