The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) continues with its efforts to tighten the use of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)1. After the last publication on December 17, 2010, ECHA officially recommended to European Commission adding additional 13 SVHC to the Authorisation list of the REACH Regulation (EC No. 1907/2006) Annex XIV. With this 3rd recommendation the Annex XIV could be expanded to a total of 27 SVHC. The 13 new SVHC are listed in Table below.
