WHAT: A major consumer products trade exhibition, the International Autumn Trade Fair (IATF) connects the regional markets of the Middle East and North Africa with global consumer goods players.

WHEN: 17-19 January 2010

WHO: Businesses engaged in computers and peripherals, electronics and electrical appliances, gifts and premiums, household products, lighting products, toys and games and watches and clocks will be featured in the Hong Kong Pavilion.

Applicants are limited to Hong Kong companies with valid business registration certificates and substantial operations in Hong Kong.

WHY: The event is a prime opportunity to build business contacts in the Middle East via the regional trade hub of Dubai. Last year's event attracted more than 11,700 visitors.

The spending power of Middle East consumers, driven mainly by the region's young population, has grown significantly in recent years, ensuring a buoyant market for consumer goods.
