CapitaLand China obtains land for RMB 78.76 mln in Hangzhou

A branch of CapitaLand China, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore-listed CapitaLand Ltd, on Jun. 11 acquired a piece of residential land for RMB 78.76 million or RMB 6,522 per square meter (sq m) in potential floor area in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, sources reported.

The parcel, which covers a land area of 5,250 sq m and has a potential floor area of 12,075 sq m, is near the property branch's first major project in Hangzhou. The first project, which is located in the city's Gongshu District and was purchased for RMB 562 million, started to pre-sell in January and will be completed in December this year.

Last month, Hangzhou saw property transaction volume total 10,058 units. In June, the city plans to sell nine pieces of land with area of 516 Mu and potential floor area of 897,000 sq m in total, sources reported.
