The Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs have jointly issued the 2009 Catalogue of Prohibited Products in Processing Trade, with effect from 3 June 2009.

The commodity codes in the updated catalogue have been revised in accordance with the 2009 tariff codes. The new catalogue contains a total of 1,759 tariff code items, 30 less compared with the previous version.
