Shenzhen's Shekou Container Terminal (SCT) has welcomed the new AMC1 (Asia-Mediterranean Container Service 1) weekly service from China Shipping (CSCL) with the arrival of the Xin Chi Wan containership on October 29.

Expected every Thursday, eight 5,600-TEU ships will follow the rotation of Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen (Shekou), Singapore, Port Kelang, Suez, Port Said, La Spezia, Genoa, Marseilles (Fos), Valencia, Port Said, Suez, Jeddah, Khor Fakkan, Singapore and back to Qingdao.
