A tourist group made up of s, 22 Koreans, landed at the Guiyang Longdongbao Airport yesterday. This was the first foreign tourists group to arrive in Guizhou Province after the devastating earthquake.

On Jun. 7, a chartered flight carrying about 100 passengers from Singapore reached Guiyang. Later, American and French tourist groups are also expected, said Yan Feng, general manager of Guizhou China Youth Travel Service.

Guiyang has made good preparations for visiting foreign and domestic tourists, announced Hu Xiaogang, chief of Guiyang Tourism Bureau.

"The tourists in the traveling group are the leaders of Korean tourist transport companies. Besides sightseeing, they will also investigate the investment environment of Guizhou," said Lee Taiyuan, deputy managing president of China-Republic of Korea Friendship Association.
