Hunan's road cargo volume tops central China provinces

Hunan province's recorded a cargo transportation volume of 1.32 billion tonnes from January to October, up 11.2 per cent year on year.
The province's cargo turnover volume increased 14.5 per cent to 270.3 billion tonnes per kilometre, according to Xinhua.
Railway cargo movement totalled to 49.6 million tonnes, up 5.5 per cent. Road freight volume increased 11.3 per cent to 1.1 billion tonnes, ranking at the first of all central China provinces. Road cargo turnover grew 21.4 per cent to 145.9 billion tonnes per kilometre.
