The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the following recalls of products made in mainland China.

Trampolines. Skywalker Holdings LLC has recalled about 60,000 trampolines because the straps supporting the top of the trampoline's enclosure to the poles can fail, posing a fall hazard to users. This recall involves the Skywalker Holdings 13-foot square trampoline and enclosure combo. The unit has blue spring pads, a black net enclosure and a jumping mat. "Skywalker Holdings" is printed on a label located under the jumping mat and on the enclosure net. These trampolines were sold at specialty stores and major retailers nationwide and on-line from January 2007 through February 2009.

Outdoor Play Sets. The Step2 Company LLC is recalling about 4,300 outdoor play sets because the triangular hangers that attach the swing's ropes to the upper rail of these play sets can break, posing a fall hazard to children. This recall involves Step2 Play Up Gym play sets with model number 797300, which include a platform, climber, slide area and two swings. A red "Step2" logo plate is attached to the front of the play set. Play sets that have hangers with white plastic bushings are not subject to this recall. These play sets were manufactured in the United States but the faulty hanger components were made in mainland China. The play sets were sold at Toys"R"Us stores nationwide from January through April 2009.

Patio Umbrellas. The Home Depot has announced a recall of approximately 60 patio umbrellas because the umbrella and its pole could tip over and strike consumers if the umbrella's cover or sleeve is not removed prior to closing it. These patio umbrellas are beige with a brown offset pole. They stand 11 feet tall and have a brown cross base about 18 inches long. They were sold at The Home Depot stores nationwide from January through February 2009.
