The CPSC has announced the following recalls of products made in mainland China.
Trampolines. Aviva Sports Inc. has recalled about 14,000 trampolines because the metal support legs of these trampolines can bend or break and the bungee cords that secure the mat to the trampoline frame can fray or break, posing a fall hazard to users. The recall includes two separate model trampolines. The Leaps & Bounds trampoline measures 34 inch by 34 inch and has a hold-on handle with model number 12731 printed on the pad that goes around the frame of the product. The Pirate Jump & Play trampoline has an enclosure and model number 0840525. These trampolines were sold by sports equipment e-retailers, catalogue companies, and Chelsea & Scott through its Web site and the "Leaps and Bounds" catalogue from September 2006 through January 2009.

Pacifiers. OKK Trading is recalling approximately 2,900 Baby Necessities pacifiers because they fail to meet federal safety standards, posing a choking hazard to young children. This recall involves pacifiers with a blue heart-shaped mouth guard. The pacifiers were sold four to a pack at dollar and discount stores nationwide from August 2007 through January 2009.

Children's Jackets. Golden Grove Trading Inc. has issued a recall for about 6,100 children's hooded fleece jackets because they have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. The recalled jackets for ages six through twelve were sold in sizes M through XXL in black, navy and heather grey royal blue. Brand names Golden Grove or Young USA, style number 20K and RN# 106197 are printed on a tag on the jacket's collar. These jackets were sold at CVS Stores in the greater Los Angeles area from August through September 2008.

Children's Sweatshirts. La Jolla Sport USA has announced a recall of approximately 9,700 O'Neill children's hooded sweatshirts because they have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. The recalled sweatshirts have RN number 85773 printed in the centre back neck and were sold in sizes S-XL. The product name and style number are printed on the hangtag on the left side seam of the garment, which comes in a variety of colours. These sweatshirts were sold at Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Boscovs, Chicks Sporting Goods, Gottschalks, Jacks Surf and Sport, Lesters and Zappos nationwide from December 2007 through January 2009.

Children's Sweatshirts. Dysfunctional Clothing is recalling about 450 hooded fleece sweatshirts because they have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. This recall involves Lost children's sweatshirts with drawstring sizes S-XL and RN number 85773. The product name and style numbers are found on the hangtag at the left side seam of the garment. They were sold at Macy's, Bloomingdales, Zappo's and Jacks Surf Shop stores nationwide from June through December 2008.

Holiday Lights. Four Star Group USA has recalled about 13,000 Fresh Décor holiday lights because electrical wiring in these lights can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers. The recalled lights are a string of ten LED bulbs, each covered with a clear star shape. "Fresh Décor" is printed on the front of the product's packaging and the UPC (#7989390761) is printed on the back. These lights were sold at Safeway stores nationwide - including Carrs, Dominick's, Genuardi's, Pak'n Save, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vons - from October through December 2008.

Children's Fishing Poles. W.C. Bradley/Zebco Holdings Inc. (doing business as Zebco Brands) has issued a recall for approximately 2,700 children's fishing poles because paint on the reels of these items contains excessive lead levels. This recall involves Zebco Advanced Youth Fishing Rod & Reel combo sets. The reels are painted orange and have the words "Zebco" and "ZAVS 10" on the reel handle. Only spinning reels are involved in this recall. These items were sold at discount department and sporting good stores nationwide from August 2007 through December 2008.

Vacuums. Electrolux Home Care Products Inc. has recalled some 320,000 Ergorapido, Pronto and Precision vacuums because the vacuum's battery can expand and burst, posing a risk of injury to users and bystanders. This recall involves 2-in-1 cordless stick vacuums with a detachable hand vacuum and free-standing charger. Units involved in the recall have 9.6-volts printed on a serial plate on the underside of the handheld unit, as well as the following serial numbers: 074000001 through 085100001 and 74000001 through 85100001. They were sold at major and independent retailers nationwide from November 2007 through March 2009.

AC Adaptors. Lenovo (United States) Inc. has issued a recall for approximately 230 AC adaptors used with ThinkVision soundbars because the plastic shell of the adaptor can crack, posing a risk of electric shock to consumers. The FRU part number 89P8571 with date code 200810 is located on the back of the adaptor. These items were sold on Lenovo's Web site, through telephone and direct sales, and by Lenovo authorised distributors nationwide from October 2008 through January 2009.

Clothing Irons. Conair Corporation has announced a recall of approximately 45,000 clothing irons because they can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers. This recall involves Conair clothing irons with model numbers DPP1500, DPP1500R and DPP3500. The model number is printed below the soleplate. The irons were sold at department and retail stores nationwide from October 2008 through March 2009.

Children's Toy Boxes. Lakeshore Learning Materials is recalling approximately 4,000 What's Inside? soft toy boxes because the head of the stuffed butterfly toy can detach from the body, posing a choking hazard to children. This recall involves soft, multi-coloured boxes with a different colour on each side. "What's Inside?" is embroidered on the front of the box and symbols of a lion, flower and purple butterfly are stitched on another side. Each box contains ten small stuffed pieces. The piece affected by this recall is the pink and purple butterfly. These boxes were sold by Lakeshore Learning Materials stores nationwide and through Toys To Grow On catalogues from September 2008 through February 2009.

High Chairs. Evenflo Company Inc. has recalled an additional 90,000 high chairs (95,000 units were recalled in December 2008) because plastic caps and metal screws on both sides of the high chair can loosen and fall out, allowing the seatback to suddenly fall back or detach from the high chair and posing fall and choking hazards to children. This recall involves Evenflo Majestic high chairs, model numbers 3001395, 3001395A, 3001604, 3001700, 3001713, 3001713A, 3001730A, 3001732, 3001733, 3001742, 3001742A, 3001756, 3001821A, 3001840A, 3001845, 30011848, 3001852, 3001932, 3002719 and 3003845. These high chairs were manufactured between 23 January 2007 and 31 December 2008 and sold at Juvenile product and mass merchandise stores nationwide (including Toys"R"Us, Babies"R"Us, Walmart.com and Burlington Coat Factory) from January 2007 through March 2009.

Radio Transmitters. Horizon Hobby Inc. is recalling approximately 15,000 Spektrum DX6i radio transmitters used with model aircraft because they can cause these airplanes and helicopters to fall from the sky while in flight and crash into bystanders or property. The propellers can also spin unexpectedly, injuring a person standing too close or working on the aircraft. This poses impact and laceration hazards to consumers and a risk of property damage. The recalled transmitters were sold individually or as part of three different ready-to-fly model aircraft at independently-owned model and hobby shops from July 2008 through January 2009.

Electrical Switches. RadioShack Corp. has announced a recall of about 18,000 Illuminated Round Rocker electrical switches because the wiring diagram on the switch's package is incorrect. Specifically, the neutral and line notation is reversed, posing a shock hazard to consumers. This recall involves switches with catalogue number 275-0021 and a date code of 01P09 and earlier. The switches are used as replacement on/off switches for electronics or for use in hobby projects. They were sold at RadioShack stores nationwide and on-line at www.radioshack.com from June 2008 through January 2009.

Cribs. Suntech Enterprises Inc. has recalled about 1,900 convertible cribs because the sides of these cribs are made of mesh that expands, creating a gap between the side and the crib's mattress if it is not zipped into place, or a gap between the side and an added mattress. A young child can slip into this gap and become entrapped or suffocate. Also, the crib's drop side can fail to fully latch, posing a fall hazard to young children. The recall involves SunKids convertible cribs/playpens/bassinets/beds with model number PY256. These items have a drop side rail, a stationary side rail, a canopy assembly and a bassinet. The sides of these convertible cribs are made of fabric and mesh and the mattress support, bassinet, canopy and bed skirt are covered in fabric. The fabric and the mesh were sold in navy blue, light blue, pink, beige, white, beige checker and pink heart. The recalled cribs were sold at small juvenile product retailers in New York, New Jersey and California from January 2007 through October 2008.

LCD TVs. Best Buy Co. Inc. has issued a recall for approximately 13,300 LCD televisions because their power supply can fail, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers. This recall involves Insignia 26-inch flat-panel LCD televisions, model number IS-LCDTV26. The model number is printed on the back of the television and the word "INSIGNIA" is printed on the bottom front. These TVs were sold exclusively at Best Buy stores nationwide and on-line at ww.bestbuy.com and www.bestbuyforbusiness.com from August 2005 through June 2006.
