ADBC Gansu to earmark RMB 50 bln for agricultural development
| The Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADBC), one of the country's three policy banks, announced that its Gansu branch will extend credit worth RMB 50 billion to boost agricultural development of the province over the next five years, to help farmers raise farming output volume.
Among the RMB 50 billion of credit to be extended to farmers, approximately RMB 15 billion will be earmarked to support emerging agricultural enterprises with a large-sized industry network and highly internalized production scale in Gansu.
In addition, about RMB 10 billion of the credit will be allocated to support the construction of large and medium-sized water conservancy projects, cropland irrigation works, information networks, new energy, ecology and the development of agriculture and currency systems.
In order to ensure the sustainable development in agricultural sector in China, ADBC will also provide financial support to agricultural technology and marketing programs.
