Agile Property Holdings Ltd<3383>, a Hong Kong-listed developer of large scale residential projects, hotels, shopping malls and grade A commercial buildings, on Monday announced it has acquired a piece of land for RMB 940 million in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.

The parcel, located on Longcheng Avenue in Xinbei District, covers an area of about 223,906 square meters and will have a floor area of 559,765 sq m. The estimated cost of the land is RMB 1,670 per sq m.

The real estate developer plans to build high-end commercial and residential buildings on the site.

In September, Agile won the bid for a piece of land in Shunde District, Foshan, Guangdong Province for RMB 1.01 billion, according to earlier media reports.

Agile Property purchased no land in the first half. Since then, the firm has bought land in many cities, including Shenyang, Zhongshan, Foshan, Guangzhou and Changzhou, adding its land reserves to 31.82 million sq m.
