HSBC Global Connections
WHAT: The collaboration between the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and global banking giant HSBC helps connect companies from Hong Kong and overseas with international business opportunities.
WHEN: Launched in April, the initiative covers three areas: enriching global market intelligence through the “International Markets” web page on hktdc.com; supporting trade missions to help international business development; and having HSBC’s presence at select HKTDC trade fairs to provide advice to visiting companies.
WHO: HSBC business experts will be available at a number of HKTDC fairs to offer trade visitors advice on doing business in Hong Kong and overseas.
WHY: HSBC will support a number of HKTDC business missions throughout 2012, using its international network to advise mission delegations on the challenges and opportunities of doing business in the missions’ targeted countries and regions.
WHERE: The latest global trends, various market indices, country guides, informative videos and trade articles from HSBC experts can be found in the International Markets web page on hktdc.com.

“HSBC and the HKTDC share a common goal – to support companies as they trade and grow internationally. This collaboration will enable HSBC to reach out to a large community of companies that are looking for expert advice and information on conducting business abroad.” (Albert Chan, Head of Commercial Banking Hong Kong, HSBC.)
