Opportunities in closer HK-Canada investment ties
Canadian energy and mining companies may be commodity rich, but junior firms are poor in available capital -- presenting opportunities for both direct Hong Kong investment and for listing on the Hang Seng Index. That's the opinion of Ian Russell, President and CEO of the Investment Industry Association of Canada. Attending the Asian Financial Forum 09, he says the event is "first rate" and urges senior Canadian financial managers to attend in 2010.
