Visa-free travel to Hong Kong from 1 July will give the territory a higher profile among Russia's consumers, says Leonid Orlov, HKTDC's Moscow Consultant. He says Hong Kong names like Giordano are moving into focus among Russian consumers who are shifting to affordable brands, while traders should look to radical lifestyle upgrades in regional Russian cities and the new trade hub of Kazakhstan.
