Some US$1 trillion is to be invested in the Indian infrastructure sector over the next 5-Year Plan, of which half will come from private sector investors, says UK Sinha, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Speaking ahead of the Asian Financial Forum 2012, he predicts that Indian companies will shortly tap Hong Kong's investment environment through initial public offerings (IPOs).
