Hong Kong can play a role as a business matching and capital raising platform for the Chinese mainland's growing commodities and energy trade with West Africa, says HKTDC Economist Enoch Ling. The SAR's electronics suppliers will also have a ready market for a young and more affluent West African consumer base.
