We DAECHANG FOOD are a seaweed processing company for more than 40 years since 1979. Our strength is in the abundance of raw materials in a wide range of grades and weights for uniformity in quality. We make to order Sushi Nori (Dried seaweed, Roasted seaweed) and Seasoned seaweed snacks for overseas customers and domestic customers both. We run three production plants in Mokpo city South Korea with all facilities and storage facilities fully certified for food safety by BRCGS, HACCP, FSS22000, ISO9001, ISO22000, HALAL, USDA, and KOSHER.

We have received various commendations and awards from the government for our contribution to exporting high-quality Korean seaweed laver. In 2022, the amount of our export reached US 50 million dollars. All of our raw seaweed materials are produced in the seaweed farms in the south and western part of the Korean Peninsula, which are famous for tidal mudflats rich in natural minerals and nutrients due to the unique Rias coastlines of the area.
