Nanjing Software Park was certified by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology as the key base for the “State Torch-Plan for Software Industry”, the first State-level Software Industry Base in Jiangsu Province. Today there are more than 315 companies and over 20000 IT talents working in the park.
Large companies engaged in outsourcing include: Ericsson, SamSung，Microsoft, Satyam, Fujitsu(CMMI5 certification), Nari Group (Pilot Enterprises of COSEP), etc. The R&D center of Ericsson in Nanjing ranked the fourth in the world. Satyam Computer Services has established its largest service outsourcing delivery center of China in our park with 2500 employees scale.
In a short span of 7 years from 2001 to 2008, the overall sales revenue of the park increased from USD 222 million to USD 1.5 billion by an annual growth rate of 40%. In 2007 the export revenue of the park increased by 73% to USD104 million.
Preferential governmental policies, numerous pools of talented IT personnel, ample funding and an active market within Nanjing Software Park will provide an exceptional setting for both domestic and overseas software enterprises. Besides, the related financial fund at both national and local government levels will also be specially supported for the companies in the park.
The planned area of Nanjing Software Park is 3.58km2. The first phase of Nanjing Software Park covers an area of 180,000m2, which was put into use already. The second phase of Nanjing Software Park Innovation Base is under construction with planned Gross Floor Area of 440,000m2 . The 70,000m2 Software and Service outsourcing building has been completed and is ready to use.
