Negev Distillers Ltd (the “firm”) is an Israeli-based distillery specialized in the production of premium anise-flavored spirits, liqueurs and vodka. The firm was founded in 1925 in the town of Mogador in Morocco, and was transferred to Israel in 2005.

The firm’s most popular brands of spirits include Arack Mabrouka and Pastis Mistral. 

Arack Mabrouka was launched in the fourth quarter of 2009 and imposed itself as one of the most enjoyed Middle Eastern brands in the world. Combining tradition and creativity, Arack Mabrouka brings great savors and exceptionally smooth taste through a finely tuned line of Aracks, liqueurs and Absinthe.

Pastis Mistral is an ultra-premium anise liqueur that ranks among the best Pastis in the world.

In 2010, Negev Distillers reputation for creating the most exquisite spirits was confirmed. It was awarded a “Best in Class” trophy, three gold medals and two silver medals at its first MIWSC participation. It stood above all other brands and achieved at least one award in each entry. It competed against more than 700 products from 26 different countries.

The firm’s spirits have become extremely popular since their launch in November 2009, and based on serious financial Israeli sources, it is expected that Arack Mabrouka alone will acquire 10% of the Israeli anise flavored drinks market by 2013. The firm’s clients already include among others, leading importers and wholesalers of wines and spirits such as Sha’al Rubin, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Israel.
