Serving Hong Kong as well as overseas markets, Amiralty Chemical Ltd. offers a wide array of waste treatment products which are sourced from around the world.
“We are selling products which cater for traditional ways of waste management and newer methods such as via the application of bio-chemical technology. It is our plan to further develop our business in the latter category as it is more environmental friendly and adheres to the ‘green’ mission pursued by us as well as our customers,” noted Ms. Ling Cheung, Manager of Amiralty Chemical.
In May 2010, Ms Cheung was arranged by the HKTDC Business Matching Service to meet with representatives of a Japanese Biotechnology Mission in Hong Kong, offering her a glimpse of the latest bio-chemical technology trends in Japan, particularly in the waste treatment area, as well as getting acquainted with new potential suppliers.
“This bio-chemical waste treatment technology is advanced in the world, Japan is well developed in this category. With these meetings, we have gained a comprehensive perspective of this technology in Japan, and we are glad to have found related products which may suit the livestock, food processing and catering industries engaged by our customers,” highlighted Ms. Cheung.
“Other than considering the feasibility of the product applications, we have already been talking about the price with these suppliers. We will keep on our discussion to negotiate a reasonable price as the cost of waste disposal in Japan is different from that in Hong Kong,” continued Ms. Cheung.
“Being referred by the Business Matching Service for the first time, I found it an effective way in locating new prospective business partners with face-to-face communications available. The detailed information given in advance of the meeting by the Business Matching Specialist and the on-site translation service are a big plus to facilitate the meeting progress,” added Ms Cheung.
