ACG Global is a performance consultant dedicated to serve organisations with branch, franchise or dealer networks. With most of its existing customers in Australia and New Zealand, ACG Global flew in from Australia to the HKTDC International ICT Expo in April 2010, aiming at expanding its business in Hong Kong, including marketing its proprietary business improvement software – the Global Management System (GMS).
Mr. Mark Simpkin, Group Managing Director of ACG, noted the focus of ACG's service is on helping companies to improve their performance in a coordinated, systematic way.
"To be improved, performance must first be evaluated and we provide a measurement and assessment service, followed with improvement goals and then a monitoring and improvement program to ensure the goals are met," explained Mr. Simpkin.
"Meanwhile, our GMS provides our customers with a dashboard for focusing on the key business improvement drivers and a means of benchmarking performance against industry and internal standards," he added.
On top of participating at the Fair, ACG also appreciated the opportunity to meet potential business partners via the HKTDC Business Matching Meetings.
"This is a terrific service offered by the HKTDC. To be introduced to established prequalified organizations with existing substantial networks that can leverage on our products and services to enhance their own business and operations was just smart. The Business Matching initiative also suits us specifically as we require and prefer to start with an intimate understanding of our potential customer's industry and business model to know if, and where, we most suitably fit," Mr. Simpkin expressed.
"The relationships we currently enjoy with our existing customers are deep and enduring and we seek to ensure that any new relationships uphold this value. It was also encouraging to discover the number of businesses and institutions we can further explore and potentially collaborate with. We will be actively maintaining contact with those we have met during this visit following our return to Australia and I remain optimistic of our future progress," concluded Mr. Simpkin.
