Global Trade Cooperation Initiatives with Hong Kong

The HKTDC is cooperating with various overseas countries to promote increased bilateral trade between Hong Kong and the rest of the world, and leverage Hong Kong’s strategic regional position as a commercial, financial, logistics, business services, and trade show hub to help foreign companies make business connections and increase their sales to Hong Kong, Chinese mainland and other Asia Pacific markets.

The Hong Kong-France Business Partnership aims to strengthen French-Hong Kong trade connection to explore new markets, particularly Asia and Chinese mainland.   Hong Kong-UK Growth Initiative

The Hong Kong-UK Growth Initiative seeks to strengthen bilateral commercial activities between the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, encouraging more British companies to make business connections and inroads into Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and other Asia-Pacific markets.

  Pacific Bridge Initiative (PBI)

In response to the US' National Export Initiative (NEI) which aims at doubling the US exports in 5 years' time, the HKTDC is launching the Pacific Bridge Initiative (PBI) with the objective of encouraging US companies to make use of the Hong Kong platform when exporting to Asia, particularly the Chinese mainland. This portal is a one-stop information point for the Pacific Bridge Initiative, with resources and activities to help you find new business opportunities.
