Wu Tung Steel Fabrics Co Ltd (互通馬路網) is a sizeable and leading steel mesh manufacturer in Hong Kong.  The Company was founded in 1959 and had formerly been named as 互通網業公司 before October 1979.  Nowadays, Wu Tung owns two factories and two warehouses to manufacture different product lines in Fanling area, and operates several retail branches in Fanling and Mongkok to facilitate the responsiveness with customer inquiries and purchases.
With over 50 years of mesh manufacturing experience, Wu Tung has acquired a wide variety of production skills and technique to purchase different kinds of steel meshes so as to satisfy the various requirements from customers and the market.  Presently Wu Tung is capable to produce Welded Steel Wire Mesh (e.g. Road Mesh, Wall Mesh, Galvanized Steel Wire Mesh, Fine Galvanized Steel Wire Mesh, Stainless Steel Wire Mesh and Fire Resistance Wrapping Mesh) and Woven Steel Wire Mesh, it was jointly designed and developed by Wu Tung and Hong Kong Housing Authority for the construction of structural walls in residential buildings.  Wu Tung is now one of the major HKHA approved wall mesh suppliers.  The surface of each wire rod in wall meshes supplied to HKHA is engraved with the mark 『Wu Tung』to identify the genuine name of the product.
