AEGIS Safety Products (ASP) is incorporated as a division of AEGIS Plus Ltd. AEGIS Plus Ltd. is part of an international group of trading, manufacturing, and investment companies with business in more than 35 countries and revenues of US$55 million. ASP is the latest venture of our group.
ASP offers the following services to its clients worldwide:
Product sourcing
All types of safety products are sourced and supplied from a variety of manufacturers in Asia, under ASP's strict quality control. Manufacturers are selected from a database of more than 300 suppliers after careful study of their operations. We build up large volumes of business with each manufacturer, allowing us to obtain the quality, price, and service that may not be available to individual buyers. ASP also arranges for supply of raw materials to supporting manufacturers.
Product development
Specific end-user requirements, analysis of market trends, introduction of newly developed raw materials, and changes in government legislation often require new products to be developed. ASP uses the combined expertise and wide knowledge base available through its international team of qualified manufacturers for development of new products.
Shipment and billing consolidation
Not being able to consolidate cargo often means purchasing larger lots, keeping bigger inventories, and paying higher shipping, clearing, and logistics charges. At ASP, goods separately shipped from different manufacturers can be consolidated into a common container and supplied under a single bill of lading and a single ASP invoice, even if shipments originate from different countries and different ports.
