Chiu & Partners is a commercial led legal practice that emphasizes on areas traditionally neglected by local firms, namely, banking, commercial and corporate work.
The partners and associates of the Firm are former partners and associates of some of the largest solicitors firms in Hong Kong.  They all come from strong academic backgrounds and are bilingual, which in our experience better reflects and caters for clients' requirements.
The mission statement of the Firm is to provide competent, professional and practical advice to clients in their own language at reasonable cost.  The emphasis is on understanding clients' needs, giving straightforward advice and searching for commercial solutions to problems.  Because the Firm's lawyers are all from a banking commercial background with in depth hands on experience in a wide variety of transactions, they are fully conversant with modern day banking and commercial practice and clients' requirements.
When the Firm was first set up, all of the clients which were then handed by the founding members of the Firm, including those who were not personal clients of the partners of the Firm, followed on to the new Firm.  The Firm would attribute the loyal following of its clients to its following principal strengths:
