Hotel Amenities International Limited (HAIL) has been active in the amenities field since 1986, supplying hotels, cruise ships and airlines with a wide range of quality products. HAIL is a Hong Kong registered company, owned and managed by Australian and New Zealand interests with its administrative offices in Hong Kong and its wholly owned manufacturing plant in Guangdong, a province in southern China adjacent to Hong Kong. HAIL manufactures in the one complex most of the items it sells. These include plastic injection and blow moulding, screen, pad and foil printing, bottle filling, sewing kit production, shower caps, slippers and shoe mitts and a wide range of bags and pouches, both heat sealed and sewn. There are currently over 250 staff employed at the China plant. Over the past few years, HAIL has established sister companies in several key markets to work with the manufacturing base to meet the requirements of customers in those territories. This is a unique relationship in that the plant is working in harmony with the ultimate customer and the local representative rather than the adversarial relationship that commonly exists in most situations where there is an off shore supplier and a local distributor. The company finds this to be of fundamental importance, not only in meeting the customer's initial requirements and maintaining supplies in an efficient manner, but in developing new lines as tastes change. With this latter point in mind it now offers a design service to those accounts who are seeking a new image for their businesses.
