Established in 2008, Zihua Embrocation was owned by Wah Sing Pharmaceutical Limited in the early days. In 2011, in order to promote the self-branded product, tens of millions was invested to build an 11,000 ft² factory, which is Hong Kong Zihua Pharmaceutical Limited. The factory boasts modernized production and testing equipment, a well-equipped quality control (QC) system and experienced, qualified QC and production personnel. In 2012, the factory was granted “Good Manufacturing Practice in respect of proprietary Chinese Medicine”, ensuring plant installations and facilities, air quality, and production and quality management are meeting stringent requirements and international standards.

In order to reduce manual process while maintaining hygiene in the work space and product, Hong Kong Zihua Pharmaceutical Limited set up production areas with specific guidelines for logistics and personnel flow, which are compliant with corresponding working procedures and Standard Operating Procedure (S.O.P.). In addition, the clean areas are equipped with independent HVAC system to make sure temperature, humidity, air volume, pressure and air cleanliness meet the grade 100,000 standard established by World Health Organization (WHO). There are strict monitoring and procedures from sourcing of raw materials to quality control of finished goods. Moreover, the products must undergo triple quality inspection before release for sale to ensure its safety, quality and efficacy.
